As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will own medium-sized quality engineering tasks and deliver as per the commitments, while helping team members. You will make technology choices at an individual level and analyze the impact. You will also apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like SAFe/Agile, CI, software and product security, integration, scalability, documentation practices, refactoring, and testing techniques. Additionally, you will: Integrate project testing with continuous integration process Prepare reusable functions which improve the robustness, reusability, and maintainability of test scripts Work with fellow team members to diagnose defects and formulate solutions Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, integration, end-to-end, functional, and regression test cases What You'll Need to be Successful: Bachelor's degree in computer science or other STEM major and at least 9 years of professional experience OR master's degree and at least 7 years of experience Extensive experience in test automation using Selenium, QTP, Jasmine Framework, or other automation tools and working knowledge of writing Java/JavaScript in a SAFe/Agile environment Working knowledge of CI/CD to support continuous automation and deployment process with basic knowledge of Linux/Unix scripting Experience with issue-tracking and Agile project management tools such as Rally, Confluence, and HP ALM Experience working with virtual machines as part of a test/integration infrastructure Knowledge of cloud technologies in AWS Initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating efforts Awareness of competitors and industry trends Ability to analyze the impact of technology choices Ability to take ownership of medium sized tasks and deliver while helping team members Exceptional communication skills to ensure understanding of issues and present clear rationale; speak to mutual needs and win-win solutions; and influence outcomes and ongoing results Good customer facing skills Strong interpersonal skills Effective team building and problem-solving abilities Benefits: At Resolvit, you'll be given the support you need to grow in your consulting career.
