history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a
Principal Product Trainer to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL for the
Logistics and Modernization group.The successful candidate needs to
be experienced with the Instructional Systems Development (ISD)
framework for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and
evaluating (ADDIE) learning systems. Select appropriate
instructional methods such as individual training, group
instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstration-performance,
problem-based learning, student-centered learning, and guided
discussion. Support, build, and promote a positive and
collaborative culture across all teams. Develop and maintain expert
level knowledge. Strong written and verbal communication skills
required, as well as strong organizational skills and an ability to
work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.Job Duties
Include:Develops training curriculum, study outlines, and
orientation materials to be employed during procedures based
maintenance training.Support the development of criteria for
evaluating effectiveness of training activities.Continuously
revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and maintain
updated technical information.Provide input to meet new training
requirements and to keep technical information up to
date.Demonstrate and use effective training analysis, project
management, course development, and evaluation skills.Develop
instruction materials - self-paced guides, case studies, job aids,
evaluations; scenario-based course outlines.Develop training
materials - classroom materials, instructor guides, student
manuals, workbooks, related materials; curricula to support program
implementation across target audiences.Collaborate with subject
matter experts (SMEs) to identify specific training needs and
develop solutions for satisfying unique skills based training
requirements.Create and analyze assessments to evaluate learning
effectiveness and instructional improvement opportunities - e.g.
pre-tests, post-tests, and quizzes.Use ISD current Learning Theory
to solve complex learning and performance problems.Basic
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with
a minimum of 6 years of experience in courseware development,
instruction or industry training content development.Must have the
ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high
expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team
settings across all levels.Must have a working knowledge of
customer compliance documents, government instructions, and
government standards.Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office
products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Must have active or the
ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance or
Top Secret clearance within the past 2 yearsMust have the ability
to obtain Special Program Access.Preferred Qualifications:3 or more
years of aircraft maintenance classroom instruction and course
development at a Field Training Detachment (special considerations
will be given for diverse development experience).6 or more years
of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience (special considerations
will be given for more diverse experience).Experience in task
analysis procedures and training systems productsBasic
understanding of Agile processes.Design and development of
curriculum for advanced technologies.Experience using courseware
development tools - LCMS and LMSSalary Range: $65,800 USD - $98,800
USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
