Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals at our Melbourne, FL facility.Roles and Responsibilities: Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance standards for a medium to large sized Special Access Program (SAP) as the Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO). Accounts for all Top Secret data within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) and ensures all Physical Security requirements are met with the applicable requirements (i.e.--- UL 2050, ICD 705, and DoD/SAP manuals/directives). Ensure security compliance across a number of sites/locations including suppliers. Process DD254's as new documents and revisions submitted through appropriate channels. Supports high level executive visits and works directly with individuals' personal protective services. Basic Qualifications:
    • High school diploma / GED
    • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of Industrial Security experience
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
    • Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active DoD U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years
    • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) information and maintain eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)Preferred Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Security Studies, Intelligence Studies or similar degree applicable to this position and duties herein.
      • Experience drafting, maintaining, and interpreting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Security Plans, and Concept of Operations documents
      • Skilled in providing security-relevant training and briefings
      • Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet iterative deadlines
      • Previous Top Secret Contractor Officer (TSCO) dutiesSalary Range: 72200 - 108400Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
