Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Principal Systems Integration
and Test Engineer.Essential Responsibilities:
- The engineer will perform technical planning, system
integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and
supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Support hands-on integration activities both in the laboratory
and on the aircraft.
- Support required in-flight test activities.
- Perform analyses at all levels of total system product to
include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation,
operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or
product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge
technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade
studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies
to translate customer requirements into hardware and software
specifications.Qualifying candidates must be able to work complex
technical problems, provide meaningful solutions, and act as a
consultant to management in terms of direction to be taken and in
the pursuing of courses of action. The successful candidate will
work under general supervision. The successful candidate will
demonstrate the skill and ability to perform moderately complex
professional tasks.Northrop Grumman is a leading developer and
manufacturer of military aircraft systems including the B-2 stealth
bomber, E-2 Hawkeye, Joint STARS, Global Hawk unmanned aircraft and

air platforms!ELEPAYMELENGQualifications:Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering, Physics or other STEM field and 5+
years of systems integration experience or Master's degree in STEM
field and 3+ years of systems integration experience
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance that has been
granted/renewed within the past 5 years
- Must be able to obtain Program Special access within a
reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its
business needs. (Start date is contingent upon receiving Program
Special Access.)Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous work experience with Military Aircraft DoD
programs.Familiar with common avionics protocols, MIL-STD-1553,
ARINC 419, RS-232/485, etc
- Knowledge in Full life-cycle hardware/software
development.Previous work experience or college coursework in
System Design behavior analysis.
- Experience in working with Specialty Engineering (Environmental
Qualification, EMI/C, Safety, HF).
- Ability to obtain a Class 3 medical certification for aircraft
flight event support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent
- Ability to interface with a multidisciplinary Integrated
