Northrop Grumman Aerospace System (NGAS) is seeking a Principle
Programming Planning Schedule Analyst at their Melbourne, FL
facility to support Material Cost Management within Business
Management. This position will provide assistance and guidance to
support the implementation of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Control Account Managers
(CAMs), while ensuring compliance to DOD EVMS guidelines and the
Military Aircraft Systems Division EVM System.
This is a fast paced high energy environment that requires a
self-motivated employee to join the team. This candidate will have
experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline
concepts and be able to apply them to multiple contracts for
control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team
(IPT). The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and
- Understand and communicate unique problems and recommend
potential business/process solutions;
- Work under very general supervision while completing numerous
assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure
proper management focus;
- Exert some influence on peers and internal customers; good
interpersonal skills while representing the group on special
projects outside of own group.
This Program Cost Control Analyst will focus in EVMS support for
Major Subcontracts and General Procurement (GP). The analyst will
be responsible for:
- Preparing month-end reports; developing and reviewing EAC's;
incorporation of changes into the EVMS system in order to maintain
Major Subcontract/GP cost and schedule baselines.
- Assisting CAMs for EVMS activities including: WBS alignment,
time phasing of the tasks, developing and documenting earned value
methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate to
complete analysis and updates, and variance analysis research and
- Supporting monthly cost and schedule reviews, identify
pressures and opportunities, and develop recovery plans as
A preferred candidate will have experience working in MPM/COBRA as
an earned value management tool and will have experience working in
SAP. The candidate would have experience training junior employees.
Candidate must have an understanding of the procurement process and
business flow of material through the supply chain and be able to
work with multiple stakeholders of different disciplines and
Must be able to effectively manage evolving requirements and
tool/system enhancements and think innovatively for work-around
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting
or related with 6 years of related experience in financial analysis
OR a Master's Degree with 4 year related experience in financial
Understanding of Business Systems (SAP/MPM)
Financial forecasting and/or material accounting experience
Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of EVMS
Secret security clearance or ability to obtain a clearance
