Communications organization of Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems
is seeking a highly skilled communications professional to join our
team in implementing dynamic communications practices, including
strategy planning and execution, digital communications, employee
communications and special events. This is a hybrid position in our
Melbourne, FL location.Additional areas of focus will include
contributing to internal and external communications initiatives,
for U.S. DoD customers including for restricted programs; planning
and executing messaging for executives and subject matter experts;
and developing collateral materials and media content.The
successful candidate has demonstrated skill in developing strategic
communications plans as well as the coordination, development
and/or execution of content creation for scripts, digital, print,
and other materials.Additional responsibilities will include:-
Driving communications processes and operations, with a focus on
establishing internal tools, measurement and best practices-
Supporting the alignment of communications planning and execution
for corporate and sector initiatives and measurement objectives-
Developing visual and storytelling strategy focused on people and
products for a variety of internal and external audiences-
Collaborating across functions and sectors to ensure regular
exchange of information to support consistent messaging in support
of strategic business objectives This is an ideal position for a
high-energy, adventurous, self-motivated professional who is able
to meet commitments and work effectively given tight turnaround
times, multiple tasks and customers, shifting priorities and
limited resources. This full-time position is located in Melbourne,
Florida, and reports to the communications manager.Basic
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related
experience: internal corporate communications, leadership
consultation and/or communication strategy development and
deployment, marketing, business, communications, public relations
or public affairs OR a Master's degree with 4 years of experience.-
U.S. citizenship- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret
clearancePreferred Qualifications:- Confident communicator and
ability to present concepts orally- Superior organization, project
management and time management skills; strong decision-making
ability and attention to detail- Strong written, oral and
interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate and gain consensus-
A strong track record of supporting senior executives, to include
acting as a strategic advisor and providing communications related
support at internal and external events- Proven performance
bringing new ideas to fruition; ability to build consensus among
stakeholders and execute a vision - Experience with Public
Relations analytics tools- Special consideration will be given to
those with experience working in the U.S. Department of Defense
industry, with a basic understanding of DoD business- Demonstrated
experience in technology-based communication, web design and
creation is a bonus- Active DoD Secret Clearance updated within the
last 5 yearsSalary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD Employees may
be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
