technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user
manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational
specifications, and related technical publications to communicate
clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions
to a wide range of audiences. Acquires subject knowledge by
interviewing product developers, observing performance of
production methods, referring to technical specifications,
blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. Oversees
preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings,
sketches, diagrams and charts. Conducts quality review of
materials.Basic Qualifications:At least 3 years of relevant
experience with Bachelor's Degree; or 1 year experience with
Master's Degree. In lieu of formal degree, High School Diploma or
equivalent (GED) and at least 7 years of relevant experience in a
related fieldComplete understanding and application of principles,
concepts, practices, and standardsFull knowledge of industry
practices. Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to
perform fairly complex professional tasksMust be able to read and
interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and system
description documentsBe able to write in XMLMust have an active DoD
Secret Clearance with ability to maintain with background
investigation within the past 5 yearsMust be obtain and retain
Special Program access clearance within 365 days from
submissionMust be available and able to work first or second
shift.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with the Eagle/EPS
publishing systemExperience in utilizing the USAF Flight Manual or
Maintenance Manual change processExperience writing in XML/S1000D
International Specification for Technical Publications/IETM/Data
Module writing (Arbortext, EAGLE, XMetal, or similar program)At
least 4 years' experience as an air vehicle operator or
maintainer.Salary Range: $53,500 USD - $80,300 USDEmployees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
