Job Description Job Description Description: The Patient Care Coordinator is a key member of the BodyByBariatrics team and plays an essential role in delivering an exceptional patient experience from first contact through ongoing care. This position serves as the primary point of communication for patients, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient front office environment. The Patient Care Coordinator supports both administrative and clinical workflows by managing scheduling, patient communications, insurance verification, and documentation while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality. Requirements: Key Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative appointments and communicate instructions to patients Verify insurance eligibility and collect copayments or deposits as required Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system Manage office email and fax communications, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation Assist with administrative duties including filing, scanning, and organizing documents Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure efficient patient flow Collect Patient Payments Support overall office operations and perform other duties as assigned Strong overall computer/technology skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to support a diverse patient population
