Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYProvide direction and leadership
to Project Management Office (PMO) associates and stakeholders
across the Health First Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). Serve as
subject matter expert for program and project management best
practices.PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Lead daily operations of the
PMO to ensure department and project specific goals are met
successfully.2. In conjunction with the Director, establish overall
performance standards for projects, programs and PMO associates.3.
Develop and maintain a staffing strategy that sufficiently supports
PMO resource needs across the Health First IDN.4. Monitor and
manage PMO associates by setting expectations and providing timely
feedback and recognition for results.5. Identify, execute and track
department specific process improvement initiatives.6. Communicate
the status of Health First's IDN portfolio to key stakeholders
through appropriate verbal and written formats and in a way that
provides value and promotes trust amongst executive sponsors,
project sponsors and key stakeholders.7. Proactively solicit
feedback and promptly respond to customer needs to continually
improve customer experience.8. Perform management of strategic
program initiatives including initiation, planning, execution,
implementation & turn-over.9. Formulate and implement plans for
recovery, alteration of work or otherwise handling emergencies and
disruptions of programs and production schedules and unanticipated
events.10.Responsible for identifying all program costs associated
with the portfolio and ensuring the owner of these costs is aware
and can manage their budgets to support these
costs.Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor's
Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), Healthcare or
related field.Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional)
certification, as offered by PMI (Project Management
Institute).Work Experience: Ten (10) years of project management.
Five (5) years of combined indirectly and directly leading
individuals and teams. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experience
building staffing strategies, motivating/mentoring resources,
providing work direction, and managing Associate performance.
Ability to foster high performing teams and optimize resources to
achieve operational, program, and/or project efficiencies.
Demonstrated knowledge and proven application of various
methodologies/tools in portfolio, program, and project management.
Proven experience and track record in managing cross-functional
initiatives. Strong ability to apply a wide variety of
problem-solving approaches. Consultative influencer in a complex
environment/matrix setting. Interact and engage stakeholders at
multiple levels through strong influencing ability. Utilize
critical thinking skills to create action plans and drive
program/project related decisions. Strong analytical skills for
planning, estimating, and budgeting. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively
with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse and matrix
healthcare environment. Superior organization skills. PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS Education: Master's Degree in Business, IT,
Healthcare or related field.Certification: Any variation of Lean
and/or Agile.Work Experience: Experience in a health care delivery
environment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sedentary - Office Workers
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and
standing or lifting more than 10 pounds are required only
occasionally. Must be able to tolerate long periods of computer
time a day. Adaptability of working remotely
