Position Overview
Serving as a central source of support for visitors and employees,
the Receptionist participates in a wide
range of day-to-day transactional, administrative, and customer
service functions. The Receptionist will
manage the front desk, greet visitors, and deliver exceptional
customer service while performing
administrative and clerical tasks, as assigned. This position is
based in our Melbourne, Florida office.
Duties & Responsibilities
Answer and route incoming calls in a timely, professional, and
friendly manner
Maintain a detailed log of calls to be returned and/or any messages
and ensure they are
communicated
Welcome employees and visitors in a warm, courteous manner and
respond to queries
Maintain reception area; facilitate the shipping, receiving, and
distribution of mail and packages
Operate standard office equipment, including fax machine, copy
machine, and computer
Assists Executive Assistant, as necessary
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources and
Accounting Departments, as
assigned
Manage the conference room, including scheduling and preparation
for meetings
Ensure reception area is always clean and tidy
Other projects or duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
At least two years related experience required
Microsoft Office experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior customer service orientation, exceptional interpersonal
and collaboration skills
Positive, can-do attitude with authentic willingness to do whatever
it takes to contribute to the
greater good of the organization
Outstanding judgment and decision-making abilities under ambiguous
circumstances; ability to
solve problems with a tactful and resourceful approach
Strong time management skills and attention to detail with the
ability to quickly and gracefully
adapt to a rapidly changing environment and manage competing
priorities
High level of integrity and adherence to maintaining
confidentiality
