Job Description Lowndes is seeking an Office Assistant for its
Melbourne, Florida office. This position will be responsible for
keeping the office supplied and organized. The successful candidate
should have excellent verbal and written communication skills,
possess excellent computer and organizational skills and be able to
balance multiple assignments. Prior legal office experience
preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: --
Handling clerical tasks such as sorting and sending mail; --
Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials
as needed; -- Maintaining files; -- Welcoming visitors to the
office; -- Answering phone calls; -- Taking and delivering
messages; -- Ensuring the office runs smoothly; -- Scheduling
meetings and sending meeting invites to attendees; -- Supporting
attorney(s) and paralegal(s) as needed with other administrative
duties as assigned. Candidates must have: -- Proficiency in MS
Word; -- Good grammar and spelling. Comprehensive salary and
