Job Description:

This is an exciting career opportunity for someone who is active and enjoys a constantly changing work environment. This person should feel comfortable with being accountable for results and developing and implementing action plans to accomplish pre-established goals.This job requires a person to be extremely detail oriented and able to follow established procedures carefully. This individual must have the ability to work within given time constraints and be a great problem solver.PRIMARY JOB DUTIESAccounting & Analysis* Manages the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations* Prepares monthly financial statements (balance sheet and income statement)* Prepares other miscellaneous financial reports (1099s, sales/use tax, banking-related)* Review job costs and overheads for corrective action* Assists with obtaining and reporting key performance indicator (metrics) data* Controls banking activities and reconciles bank and credit card accounts* Coordinates accounting records with the CPA to ensure financial status of the franchise is properly reflectedAR, AP, Payroll* Manages the A/R process, including customer invoicing and collections* Manages the A/P process, including vendor invoicing and payments* Compiles and reviews labor hours and processes payroll* Manages other HR duties to include on-boarding, health insurance, benefits administration, payroll deductions, PTO tracking, employee relations, and other various reporting requirementsOffice Management* Oversees the administration department* Maintain inventory and purchase office construction supplies* Manages business licenses and insurance* Ensure front office department is supporting & delivering excellent customer service to both internal staff and external parties* Record, process, and follow up on Workers Compensation/Vehicle Accidents* Address & solve personnel staff issues/complaints with assistance from Executive Management* Responsible for compliance with Federal and State legislation employment lawsGENERAL QUALIFICATIONS* Enjoys working with people and thrives on customer service excellence* Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on financial accounting experience* Office Manager: 5 years (Preferred)* Proficient in Excel, Word, and QuickBooks* Experience with SalesForce (Preferred)* Ability to learn new computer programs and technology platforms, data entry, etc.* Possess a proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize work loads* Amazing oral and written communication skills* Able to work within given time constraints* Be a self-starter and have the ability to work hard with little additional supervision or direction* Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing* Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting (Preferred)License:* Notary Public (Preferred)
