Job Description Job Description Salary: $58,000 – $66,000 per year (based on education and experience) Easterseals Florida is seeking a detail?oriented and mission?driven Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will help ensure the financial accuracy and accountability that support our essential programs and services across the state. The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing grants and restricted funds, performing account reconciliations, and supporting month?end and year?end close. This position works closely with the Director of Accounting and CFO to produce timely and reliable financial reporting in alignment with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and reconcile weekly cash summaries and monthly bank statements Track, manage, and maintain grant and restricted fund records Update and maintain the fixed asset database; lead annual asset inventory Prepare and enter general ledger transactions according to the month?end checklist Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting Support external auditors and prepare required schedules and reports Provide variance analysis and financial insights to leadership Easterseals Florida has been rated a Great Place to Work (2020 – 2025) by our employees!
