This Bookkeeper Role Stands Out: As a Bookkeeper, you won't just
crunch numbers-you'll be an essential part of the client service
experience. Working alongside financial advisors and leaders,
you'll contribute to meaningful strategic decisions by maintaining
accurate, timely, and insightful financial records. Key
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper: As a Bookkeeper, your
day-to-day work will involve: Maintaining accurate financial
records for a portfolio of clients. Recording daily transactions
including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments. Reconciling
bank and credit card statements to ensure up-to-date records.
Posting journal entries and managing both accounts payable and
receivable. Categorizing expenses and transactions to support clear
client reporting. Preparing monthly financial reports such as
profit & loss statements and balance sheets. Communicating with
clients to gather necessary documentation or clarify discrepancies.
Coordinating with financial advisors to assist in planning and
forecasting. Supporting ad hoc projects and special reporting
requests as needed. Ensuring all activities comply with financial
standards and best practices. What Makes a Successful Bookkeeper:
To thrive in this Bookkeeper role, candidates should have: 2 years
of experience as a Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant, preferably in a
client-facing or multi-entity environment. Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). Strong
proficiency in QuickBooks Solid Excel skills, including pivot
tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas. A proactive mindset and the ability
to juggle multiple priorities with precision. Strong communication
skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
