You create and execute strategies that result in sustainable value creation that delivers measurable results.If this is YOU...keep reading!Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, Research Technology & Engineering (RT&E) is seeking a Staff Budget Analyst to perform a business management functional role for the Melbourne Center of Excellence (MAD CoE) located in Melbourne, FL.Essential Functions: This position will work closely with the Business Manager and Budget analysts on staff to meet the goals and objectives of the organization. The candidate will serve as the business management leadership point-of-contact and interface with the VP for CoE, CoE Staff, and Directorate Directors, as well as, the business management employees who are geographically on the west coast. Responsibilities include, but, are not limited to financial data tracking and analysis for monthly reporting requirements and reviews; support to indirect expense planning & forecasting; managing of NCTA budgets; and manpower/staffing requirement forecasting; as well as; managing of direct allocations; time charging and compliance policy guidance; general support to the business staff members; Capital; and a variety of ad hoc tasks/exercises. The position reports to the business manager and will support a Functional Homeroom organization consisting of -2,500 employees, as well as, working closely with business management team leads (section mgrs). Ideal candidate will be able to lead others, be self-motivated, have strong written, analytical and oral communication skills, and organizational and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate will need strong technical skills (e.g. SAP/Business Warehouse, Excel, and PowerPoint) and interface with all levels of Management.The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.To learn more about our hiring process for manager positions, please view our "Selecting the Best Qualified Managers" video: SQMVideoQualifications:Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 14+ years in Finance, Business Management, and Cost Analysis with verifiable experience in budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and staffing OR Master's Degree with 13+ years in Finance Analysis, Reporting,Cost Analysis experience with verifiable experience in budgeting, forecasting, compliance and staffing. SME in Resource Management (indirect, NCTA, Capital) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Strong technical skills to include of SAP/Business Warehouse (BW)Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree Strong written, analytical and oral communication skills Demonstrated ability to effectively participate on team projects and lead a team.
